Quarter de France 2026
The Quarter de France is a 23-day cycling challenge inspired by the iconic Tour de France, running from July 4th to 26th. Over the 21 riding days, you'll cycle a quarter of the distance of each official Tour stage, with two rest days along the way—just like the pros.
The goal? Try to complete each stage. If you finish Stage 1, you become a contender on the official leader board. Stay on track by completing every stage, and you’ll remain in the running to become a YELLOW jersey finisher—and earn the chance to order your exclusive and converted yellow Quarter de France Finisher’s Shirt.
Everything is tracked through our app, where you can view the leader board, the hall of fame, follow your progress and see how others are doing too. If you miss a stage, you’ll still be part of the community and can continue riding other stages. Contenders who complete all 21 stages get entered into a final stage prize draw.
Its up to you how to get the distance for each stage. You can join a group ride, ride on Zwift, ride alone, do it indoors. You can then sync this with Strava or log into the app and mark it, it must however be on the same day as the stage.

Cape Town participants: We’re also organizing a series of group rides to help you complete certain stages together—routes and times can be viewed in the app once you have registered and logged in.
Whether you're riding to challenge yourself or just for the joy of it, the Quarter de France is a great way to stay accountable in winter, to stay active, have fun, and be part of a supportive cycling community.
